The ratio of the heat capacity of block X to that of block Y is
ANSWER
The energy transferred to block X
E(x)=m(x)c(x)ΔT(x)
The energy transferred to block X
E(y)=m(y)c(y)ΔT(y)
Since total time of energy transferred for both X and Y are equal
So E(x)=E(y); c(x)=c(y)
m(x)c(x)ΔT(x)=m(y)c(y)ΔT(y)

m(x)c(x)/m(y)c(y)=ΔT(y)/ΔT(x)
m(x)c(x)/m(y)c(y)=(50-25)/(75-25)=1/2
The ratio of the heat capacity of block X to that of block Y is 1:2
