A question about percentage
A barrel cantains 10L wine ,6% of which is alcohol.If 2 L of wine is poured out and 2 L of water is added,what is the percentage of alcohol in the wine now???
2L of wine poued out, the precentage of the alcohol in the barrel is it still the same???(HAVEN"T ADD WATER YET!!)

When 2L of wine is poured out, the percentage of alcohol is the same.So, you may do this question in this way.
After pouring out 2L of wine and before adding 2L of water,
the volume of alcohol (out of 8L)
= 8L x 6%
= 0.48L
Percentage of alcohol
= (0.48L / 10L) x 100%
= 4.8%
