This article illustrates a debate about teenagers- that Hong Kong students are put under too much pressure to be all-rounders from other people- to be able to achieve excellence in all their academic subjects. One person believes teenagers to be fast learners, and another thinks students should be allowed to develop their interests. On the other hand, I agree to Ester Pang's idea- she believes HK students are under too much pressure from their environment to become a all rounder student. Apart from stress from having to study for subjects at school, these students also use their limited time to take extra leisure classes, adding onto their pressure. Another factor of stress is from themselves, knowing they need to find their talent from these extra classes to help them in their future career.
I believe myself to be an all-rounder student- after classes i attend piano and violin practices. Even though I need to study, and do extra musical practice, which is very hard, we students only need to organise our time well, then we can balance our studies and time to relax well.
