Is Spring Festival celebrated in the USA?

In U. S. we have similar holidays to your Spring Festival, National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, but the average person in the U. S. has never heard of them,,,!!!
Your Mid-Autumn Festival in very similar to our Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in Nov.) Thanks is given for food, people gather together for good 'feast'. I just learned of your moon-pie tradition; here we usually have Turkey dinner and pumpkin pie...!!!
Your National Day is actually a Holiday period. Similarly, many in U. S. consider week between Christmas and New Years Day a Holiday period.
And your Spring Festival is very similar to our Easter Period. Easter is changeable each year, sometin
mes celebrated in late March or usually April. To Christians , it is actually a six-week time of celebration and prayer beginning on ASH Wednesday, culminating on Easter Sunday!!!
With Internet, many more people will become aware of two cultures...!!!
Also, Chinese New Year was very little known with mere mention in the news!!

I have never been to China, I have never heard of the Spring Festival. Sounds pretty. Easter is with a bunny rabbit and candy, Valentines we exchange cards, Thanksgiving we give thanks to the first people here. Indians and Pilgrims. National Holiday is July 4 Independence Day from England. We shoot fireworks. How does China celebrate Christmas?
