why does 4 + 16/7 equal 44/7 ??
回答 (7)
✔ 最佳答案
4 = 28/7
28/7 + 16/7 = 44/7
4 = 28/7
so 4+16/7 = 28/7 + 16/7 = (28+16)/7 = 44/7
because the demonators have to match in order to add fractions so you find a common denominator (7) and times it by 4 which equals 28 over 7 (28/7) than u can add 16/7 + 28/7 giving you 44/7
take the LCM of 4/1 + 44/7 the lcm comes out to be 7.....the 4(num)*(7)lcm=28 +16=44/7
it is a matter of luck. :-))
4 =4*7/7 =28/7
so
4+16/7 =28/7 + 16/7 =(28+16)/7 =44/7
4 + 16/7
= 28/7 + 16/7
= 44/7
because 44/7 = (28 + 16)/ 7 = 28/7 + 16/7 = 4 + 16/7
