1.Why did most people in ancient times believe that the Earth’s shape was flat?
2.Give one piece of evidence to support the Earth’s spherical shape.
3.Why does the Earth behave like a giant magnet?
4.There are 9 planets in the solar system. Is the Earth the only planet that has an atmosphere and the only one that has an atmosphere which can support life?

1. Because the land we see is comparatively flat.
地平線叫做地平線因為佢平嘛。

2. People can sail around the Earth without falling out of the 'edge'.
or
We can see that the Earth is spherical from satellite images.

3. Because the moving molten iron in the core of the earth is generating a magnetic field.

4. Earth is NOT the only planet having an atmosphere. (Almost every planet in the solar system got an atmosphere)
But we are the only *known planet to be able to support life.
