Dear Professors, Mentors, fellow classmates,

Time does fly by fairly quickly. Another year is behind us and yet it seems as though we did not even get the chance to appreciate and thank all that has been provided to us. And so I would like to take the following few moments to express my (our) deepest appreciation to my (our) english teacher - Mr/Mrs/Ms X. Over the year she has tolerated our mediocre performance, being very patient and understanding, coaching us through very difficult and frustrating times, he/she has become a mentor and because of her dedication to me (us), I (we) have been able to improve greatly. To be able to visualize english and approach in ways none of us have ever had. It has been my (our) greatest honour to have Mr/Mrs/Ms X as our english teacher and I (we) shall never forget how much he/she has done for us. Let us all applaud and express our most sincerest appreciation to him/her today. Mr/Mrs/Ms X, thank you very very much. I (we) will (all) miss you alot, but I (we) promise that I (we) will continue to strive for the best!

Thank you very much.

WOW...樓上很厲害啊~~可是硬是要雞蛋裡挑骨頭的話...還是有點地方可以改改的...

In HK, we seldom call our teachers in secondary schools "professors" or "mentors". Of coz there is nothing wrong in meaning or grammar, but it'd sound a bit awkward in a HK school, so i think "teachers" would be okay.

By the way, I think it's more likely to be "schoolmates", instead of "classmates", who will be listening to the speech.

So I guess it should be like this, after making some little changes i think necessary...

"Dear Principal, teachers, fellow schoolmates,

Time does fly by fairly quickly. Two years have slipped away. But on looking back, it seems as though we did not even get the chance to appreciate and thank all that has been provided to us. And so I would like to take the following few moments to express my (our) deepest gratitude to my (our) english teacher - Mr/Mrs/Ms X. Over the past two years she has tolerated our mediocre performance, being very patient and understanding, coaching us through very difficult and frustrating times, he/she has become a mentor and because of her dedication to me (all of us), I (we) have improved greatly. Being able to visualize english and approach in ways none of us have ever had, it has been my (our) greatest honour to have Mr/Mrs/Ms X as our english teacher and I (we) shall never forget how much he/she has done for us. Let us all applaud and express our most sincerest appreciation to him/her today. Mr/Mrs/Ms X, thank you very very much. I (we) will (all) miss you alot, but I (we) promise that I (we) will continue to strive for the best!

Thank you."
