Capable:

Meaning:1. 有...的能力,能夠(做)...的[F][(+of)]
She is capable of judging works of art.
她有鑑賞藝術品的能力。
The girl is capable of doing it.

2. 有能力的,能幹的,有才華的
He is a very capable administrator.
他是個十分能幹的行政人員。
3. 有...的可能性,做得出...的[F][(+of)]

Able:

Meaning: 1. 能,可,會[F][+to-v]
I am afraid I won't be able to visit you on Saturday.
恐怕我無法在星期六來拜訪您了。
2. 有能力的;能幹的
He is an able lawyer.
他是一位能幹的律師。

capable and able are同義字.

Usually we use "able' not "capable'

DIFFERENCE:

Ability and capability don't have the meaning of " 資格,地位,職位" and "容量,容積", "ability" only have the meaning of "能力,才能" . And "capability" have also the meaning of "性能,功能;耐受力" , but "capacity" don't have the meaning of "性能,功能;耐受力", get it ?
