I would probably be upset if I was in the middle of a sentence to you and you hung up the phone on me. I would be hoping to get a return call from you saying that something had happened to cause you to have to hang up suddenly. :o)
Hanging up on someone is VERY rude and inapproprate UNLESS the person is cursing and yelling at you and not letting you talk then that would be the only exception. Other than that, if you dont wanna talk to them, then, simply tell them and that u are hanging up. If the person wasnt rude to you or didnt do the things I mentioned above and you still hung up on them, if I were them, I would make a point NOT to bother talking to you anymore...
No' if that is how you feel at that moment then you should hang up and be rude then explain when you have a chance , if the person ever call's again. that would be , most rude.
Depends on the situation, I work in a insurance call center, and it happens all the time if people get mad. I have gotten to the point in personal life if they hang up then fine, sometimes if they call back after they hang up i just send them to voice mail.
Well it depends what the conversation was about...if we were arguing and you hung up on me i would be pissed and probably not answer your calls...if it was some other coversation the least you could do is tell them that you have to go and that you'll call them later!!
Yes. A better tactic would be something like "That sounds really (interesting, sad, exciting, etc), but I have to go now." You don't have to add "or I will go crazy listening to you blabber on!"
hell yes. people call my desk ALL DAY and wait until I'm done stating my company slogan, and THEN decide to hang up, without saying anything. I would love to meet a few of these people on the streets
