In figure, A and B are two containers. A is a right circular cylinder of height 2 m and base radius 1m. B is a right circular cone of the same height, but of base radius 2√3 m.
(a) If A is first filled with water and part of which is poured into B so that the water surfaces of both containers are of the same height h m, find the radius r of the water surface in the cone in terms of h.
(b) Show that h satisfies the equation h^3 + h - 2 = 0.Hence, find h.
