Well, it depends on how long you have and what part of the U.S. you'll be going to.
If you're going to the west coast, you may want to include the Seattle tower in the State of Washington, the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, Hollywood in Burbank, Shopping in Los Angeles, U.S. Naval base for Pac-fleet in San Diego. drove along the coast and see the Pacific Ocean then East toward Las Vegas or Reno in Nevada, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, four corner where you could actually stand on the intersection of 4 States coming together. Then to Colorado to Aspen or Vale for world class Skiing and Snow related activities. then come back down to New Mexico and East again to Texas(Largest State in the continental U.S.). Takes you futher into the deep south to French inflenced Louisana and the Bayou, then swing into Memphis to vist Grace land. From there you could go north east ward to North Carolina to see where the Kitty Hawk first take flight or down to Florida and visit Disneyland in Fl. Also Kennedy Space center and Miami Beach. or up further north on U.S. 1 then interstate 85 up to Virginia and visit the Civil war historcial sites, up to Washington D.C. to visit the United States government in action. further up to the city of Philadelphia to see the liberty bell, then connects to the New Jersey turnpike into Atlantic city(Mini Las Vegas) then 2 hours to the City of New York ,which needs no introduction.
This route takes you through about 15 to 17 States.. there is still the heartland that you wouldn't see. Its a big country here.
And of course, there is also a little State that's much closer to you from Hong Kong and its our pride in the pacific, the State of Hawaii.
Welcome to the United States.
