I. Programme Aims

This programme aims to provide students with specialized knowledge of the major aspects in logistics, including transportation, inventory, warehousing, purchasing and materials handling.

III. Minimum Entry Requirements



Holder of a relevant School of Continuing Education (SCE) Certificate or equivalent; OR
Completion of Form 6; OR
Aged 21 or above, preferably with 3 years' relevant work experience





IV. Further Studies


Graduates of the Advanced Professional Certificate in Logistics who satisfy the entry requirements of the Diploma in Business (Logistics) will be granted four-course advanced standing towards the Diploma in Business (Logistics). Completion of the Advanced Professional Certificate does not automatically qualify for direct entry to the Diploma in Business.






V. Programme Fee


Flexible Study Mode
About HK$6,920 for the whole programme subject to revision to be paid on a course-by-course basis.
Fixed Study Mode
The programme fees of HK$6,530 will be paid by 2 instalments. The 1st instalment of HK$3,920 will be paid at the time of application for admission while the 2nd instalment of HK$2,610 will be paid at 6-8 weeks before the 2nd term commences.








VI. Duration and Mode of Study


Flexible Study Mode
It normally takes students 2 terms (8 months) to complete the programme on a part-time evening basis with the assumption that a student is taking 2 courses a term. But it may be possible for a student to take more than 2 courses a term to cut short the duration of studies.
Fixed Study Mode
The School will issue students a study schedule. They will be taking 2 courses a term, thus taking 2 terms (8 months) to complete the programme on a part-time evening basis.




VII. Venue, Date and Time


Flexible Study Mode
Classes will be held at various SCE Learning Centres depending on the schedule in a particular term.
Fixed Study Mode
Classes (Class 01) will be held at the HKBU Shek Mun (Shatin) Campus Centre on Monday and Thursday within the timeslot* from 6:45pm to 9:45pm.
