Avril Ramona Lavigne Whibley, better known as Avril Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984 in Ontario, Canada. Her musical talents were discovered by her mother since she was two. Ever since she has performing all over the communities in which she lived in. When she was sixteen she was signed by Ken Krognard of Arista Records and her artist life began. Over the past 5 years, she has released quite a few albums and many of her singles have reached astonishing sales in markets all over the world. An interesting fact is that even up till today, she still likes to go back to the town from where she grew up -Napanee and enjoy their pizza with olive toppings. She is also involved in a number of charities, her future plans are geared towards continued musical developments and an increased amount of charity participation.
