1.John bought a ticket from a cinema yesterday.Today,he is unable to watch the film.So he sells the ticket to his friend at a loss of $10 and makes a loss of 20%.What is the original price of the ticket?

首先你要記得, 全部求部份是乘數, 部份求全部是除數, 例如: 100元的九折是 100 x (1-10%) = 100 x (90/100) = 90 , 64 元是八折後的折實價, 原價就是 64/ 0.8 =80here is your answer

0.2x=10
x= 10 / 0.2
x= 50

1.35x=6480
x=6480/1.35
x=4800
2(b) let y be the cost of the audio equipment for the importer
1.2y=4800
y=4800/1.2
y=4000
2(c) profit percent = (6000-4000)/4000 * 100%
