about multimeter

I used a multimeter to measure the resistance. However, it was not success. The multimeter can not give a reading. I connected the circuit as follow: http://www.stmc.edu.hk/~s051059/phy/1.bmp (In the diagram, symbol Ω was the multimeter actually). Was there any thing wrong causing me fail to find the resistance? Was it a proper way to connect the multimeter?

你用了串聯方法去量度電阻是不正確的。量度電阻應該用是並聯方法的，即是將萬用表的其中一探針連接到電阻器的一端，而將另一探針則連接到電阻器的另一端，這樣就可以量度出該電阻器的電阻值。
其實依據你的圖片：
安培計(A1)左方的電阻器的電阻值 = V1 / A1
安培計(A2)左方的電阻器的電阻值 = V2 / A2
A5 = A1 + A2

你不可以在帶電的電路中量度電阻值。
