Carbohydrates: Compond of Carbon and Water! ie.Cx(H2O)y
eg.
Monosaccharide (單糖) eg. sugar crystal, glucose...
Disaccharide (雙糖) eg. Sucrose, Maltose....
Oligosaccharide( 寡糖) eg. Fructooliosaccharide...

簡單來說, Carbohydrates係可以有好多細分,(像脂肪都分好多種咁樣)
只不過有不同的chemical bonding/ structural formula 所以有唔同名稱!
而從水解作用(Hydrolysis), Carbohydrates 有以下關係:
. Sucrose > > Glucose + Fructose
. Maltose > > Glucose + Glucose
. Lactose > > Glucose + Galactose
. Cellobiose > > Glucose + Glucose

Sugar 你都可以話係一個 "sub統稱", 因為有好多糖種都可納入 sugar 中, 但主要是單糖及雙糖類, 其結構是結晶狀, 能溶於水!
