when water change from liquid to solid, latent heat of fusion is released.
the temperature won't change during this period.

LATENT HEAT OF FUSION IS RELEASED , THATS MEAN ENERGY IS RELEASED, BUT WHY THE TEMPERATURE DO NOT CHANGE??

但係點解淨係kinetic energy先會令温度上升? potential 同kinetic energy一樣都係energy ma~

更新2:

咁姐係話temp上升, 只會令kinetic energy 上升 而temp的上升並不代表energy 的上升, 對吧?

When water change from liquid to solid,latent heat of fusion is released , only the POTENTIAL ENERGY is affected by the energy loss , the KINETIC ENERGY remains unchanged .As the potential energy of the particles is decreased ,the distance between each particle is also decreased .As a result, liquid changes to solid.

其實你要知溫度係量度粒子既平均動能,動能越高,溫度越高;相反potential energy只係反映粒子之間距離,而距離係會影響物質既狀態,距離越遠,粒子之間吸引力越弱,就會變成氣體........希望幫到你!!

咁姐係話temp上升, 只會令kinetic energy 上升 [對]而temp的上升並不代表energy 的上升, [你呢個說法不對,1.對於非轉態情況下,溫度上升,動能增加,勢能不變,2.轉態情況下,溫度上升,動能不變,勢能增加。即係話動能在轉態時不變,而勢能只會在轉態時才有改變!!]
