The world will persist for a long time to come (billions of years), barring some bizarre and unforeseeable (and essentially impossible) collision of a huge planet-sized body with the earth that either smashes it into pieces or sends it into the sun.

I think your question is asking more if humanity is at risk. I do not think that humans will be wiped out by the problems you mention, or any other related problems like overfishing and overpopulation, desertification of formerly arable land, and so forth, although all of the issues can cause a lot of problems and maybe cause a decline in human population or a reduction in our level of technological prowess. Only the massive use of nuclear weapons in a war is a sufficient act of man that could cause the effective elimination of humans. Obviously the random asteroid impact etc. (natural event) that is not enough to destroy earth could conceivably be enough to destroy man.

Finally, it may be that you are really asking if there is a possibility of the end of civilization as we know it. That is, that man will still be around (in much lower numbers than today) but without the extended occupation of the earth as we now exist. Sort of the modern equivalent of the end of Roman civilization and descent into the dark ages that affected Europe and the Mediterranean region. This is a much more probable outcome than the previous two "ends", but again depends on a lot of things, and even if it occurs will not likely occur as a sudden change, but rather a general decline and worsening of conditions for all people over a period of hundreds of years (this last view is my personal opinion and not based on any real scientific knowledge).

Depends how you look at it, who you are, and where you live. But realize its not really global warming thats the problem its overpopulation. so you should only have 2 kids.

Nope, the earth has at least until the sun uses up all its available fuel source. Now people may not be around to see it all.
