Since Nemo was very little, this lively fish had lost his mother in a shark raid. Nemo's father, Marlin, naturally felt it was his sole responsibility to protect his own son. For this reason, he even had prevented Nemo from school for the fear that Nemo could not protect himself. Every day and everywhere, he was with Nemo, and this really annoyed Nemo. So one day when Nemo was able to get rid of his father, he was ecstatic, feeling that he was finally free from his father's over-protection. But this ecstasy of joy did not last long. A dentist accidentally caught Nemo and then kept him in a fish jar. Luckily, Marlin managed to find Nemo at last, despite the many difficulties he had encountered. The father and son from then on realized how important they were to each other, and lived happily ever after.
Whil this is supposed to be a funny cartoon, it is very meaningful. For example, the movie teaches us that parents should not protect their children too much, they must let them solve problems on their own.
Parents must let their children learn from difficulty, and gain experience thence, otherwise they will never grow up. Besides, the film also reflects the teenagers' behaviours nowadays. It reminds us that we should not argue with our parents, because they are always the one who help you when you are in need.
