Ｙｅｓ，現存北極熊數量大約為16000至35000隻，其中大約60%活躍於加拿大。

北極熊作為最大型嘅陸上食肉動物，其擁有老虎兩倍嘅體積同獅子兩倍嘅重量，成年雄性北極熊大約重400至600公斤，最極端嘅甚至超過800公斤。成年雌性北極熊嘅體積大約係雄性的一半，而其重量則大約為200至300公斤。成年雄性北極熊大約高2.4至2.6米，而成年雌性北極熊則大約高1.9至2.1米。啱啱出世嘅北極熊大約只重600至700克。
