yes, but it's weird because when I was younger I used to LOVE being the center of attention...

I'd prefer to say I'm afraid of being misunderstood. But shy sums it just as well.

I dunno... I'm not shy but still when I first meet folks I stay back a bit to ascertain who they are and what they are about... I would say guarded but not shy...
