If 9^(1/h)=11^(1/k)=99, where h and k <>0,determine the value of h+k without finding the values of h and k

9^(1/h)=11^(1/k)=99 take log,
(log9)/h = (log11)/k = log99
h = (log9) / (log99)
k = (log11) / (log99)
h+k = 1
I am not sure whether the above will be regarded as finding the values of h and k
