One of my favourite hobbies is swimming in my spare time. Due to my interest in swimming, I have met several instructors and have had long discussions with them regarding the fastest stroke. I have concluded the following. For beginners, freestyle is simple and fast. Once a person had master that, he can move onto learning back stroke adn breast stroke. Back stroke is the swimmer racing through the water with his back on the water surface. Breast stroke is an immitation of a frog's movement gliding through water. My follow instructors and I both agreed that the most difficult stroke to learn is butterfly. The butterfly stroke mimics the movement of a butterfly flapping its wings in the sky. The swimmer swimming this stroke has to lift up both hands and aggressively throw himself to the water in front. This strains the swimmer's stomach and is a good exercise for the abdomins. Swimming not only make us fit, it can also bring us friends interested in the sport.
