1.a) (294 + 1/2 * 252)/600 = 420/600 = 0.7
b) 1-0.7 = 0.3 or (1/2 * 252 + 54)/600 = 0.3
c) 294/600 = 0.49 (or p = 0.7, so p^2 = 0.49)
d) 54/600 = 0.09 (or q = 0.3, so q^2 = 0.09)
e) frequency of AA and Aa = (294 + 252)/600 = 0.91
f) frequency of aa = 54/600 = 0.09

a) the frequency of the b allele is (18 + 84/2)/200 = 60/200 = 0.3
