First of all, let me remind you that unauthorized duplication of software including games is illegal in most countries particularly the United States of Amerca. I'm assuming that what you are doing is for 'archival' or 'backup' purposes.
The 5GB game in the DVD is stored in a Dual Layer DVD. Since the normal single layer DVD with a maximum capacity of 4481MB cannnot fit that, what you can do is split the DVD image into two.
You need to first copy the contents of the DVD into your harddrive by creating an image of it. You can use CloneCD applicationfor this.
Once you have created the image, the file will also be around 5GB. Since it cannot fit in a single layer DVD, you need to 'split' the file.
To split the file, you can use archiving tools such as WinRAR. WinRAR has the option of splitting archives into multiple volumes.
Once you have split it, you can burn it now using your DVD burning software such as Nero Burning ROM and two blank DVDs.
To install the game using the 2 DVDs, you need to first extract the image to your hard drive. You then need to use a VirtualCD emulation software to mount such DVD image. DAEMON Tools is a freeware for such a thing.
