OKX/3 - 1/6 = 3/5 ; need a common denominator. let's use 6
2x/6 -1/6 = 3/5
2x-1/6 = 3/5; now multiply each side by 6
2x-1 = 18/5; now multiply each side by 5
10x -5 = 18
10x = 23
x = 23/10
Let's Check
(23/10)/3 - 1/6 = 3/5??
23/30 - 1/6 = 3/5 ??
23/30 - 5/30 = 3/5 ??
18/30 = 3/5 ??
3/5 = 3/5 YES!!!
