A restaurant ower buys good amounting to £300 per month (at normal price).
Find the total money saved over 12 months if the rate of discount he received was 1%

discount per month = normal price * discount
= £300 * 1%
= £3
For 12 Months, the total money saved = £3 * 12 = £36

A dishwasher was priced by Supplier A at £2,056. the same model dishwasher was offered by Supplier B at £2,500 less 15% discount. which supplier was the cheapest
and by how much?

Supplier A: Selling price = 2056
Supplier B: Selling price = Marked price X (1 - discount)
= 2500 X (1-15%)
= 2125
Supplier A Selling price - Supplier B Selling price
= 2056 - 2125 = - 69
So, Supplier A is £69 cheaper than Supplier B

1. £300 x1%x12
=36

2.Supplier A:
2056

Supplier B:
2500*(1-15%)
=2125

so supplier A is cheaper
