in a music concert 9/13 of the audience were younsters.If there were 60 elderly people, find the total number of people in the audience...

4/13=60
(4/13=60)/4
1/13=15

9/13=135

135+60=195

if 9/13 are youngsters then 4/13 are elderlies

4/13 = 60
1/13 = 60 / 4 = 15
9 * 15 = 135
Therefore, there are 135 youngsters

60 = 4/13 means total audience is 60*13/4=(60/4)*13=15*13=195
