shut down my facebook account

you cannot SHUT DOWN,
but u can de-activeate ur account:
1) go to account
2) under setting, choose deactiveate account --> click it
3) give ur reason(s)
4) done

P.S. if u want to reactiveate...just simply login using ur account and password, then they will send u an email with a vaild link to reactiveate ur account!
