1)May measures that a pack of A4 paper (with 1000pieces inside) is 96mm thick,and the relative error is 1/240.Find the maximum absolute error of the thickness of the pack of paper.

Let the maximum absolute error of the thickness of the pack of paper be x mm.x/96 = 1/240
x = 0.4
Therefore, the maximum absolute error of the thickness of the pack of paper is 0.4 mm.
