niether...nor and either...or 的用法.

「neither A nor B ...」，中文會譯為 「A 和 B 也不...」，
例如 Neither John NOR Ann will go to the party，John和Ann也不會去派對。

「either A or B...」，中文會譯為 「A 和 B 其中一個會...」，
例如 Either John OR Ann will go to the party，John和Ann其一一個會去派對。
或者可以譯成「A或者B會...」、「一是A，一是B」，A,B 未必要係人，可以係事，例如:
I will either play football or basketball tonight，今晚我一是踢波，一是打籃球。

相反，Neither ... nor就用於 negative語氣，用上面例子，
I will neither play football nor basketball tonight，今晚我不會踢波，也不會打籃球。

註︰ either/ neither ... 與 or/nor 之後要句式要互相對稱(名詞對名詞或動詞對動詞，且互不從屬，Or 後面不能用代名詞引用 Either 後的主位 )

e.g.
Neither the bike nor the lorry was able to avoid the ice.
Neither Anne nor the maids consider the plant a nuisance.

Either Tom or Mary is hardworking.
I can either buy the magazine from a supermarket or buy the magazine from a bookshop

注: verb 的tense 要跟nor / or 後的主語.
