My favourite festival is Chinese new year. During Chinese new year, I would have new clothes. People are going every where to visit each other. Saying all the good words, hoping all have a good year. Of course, the happiest is to have red package. I can have big red package from my parent, grandparent and I can use the money to buy things that I like and I can save up the red package for my future use. Also, I can play around with my friend during the long holiday.

My favourite festival is Chinese New Year because I could go to my grandparents' house and play. My relatives will give me red packets and we can play cards together.
I also like Chinese New Year because me and my family could make turnip and rice cakes together, we could enjoy these tasty cakes and watch television together. Besides eating, I can also watch the lion dance, it is fantastic! I also like walking in the flower market. There are so many flowers such as peach blossom and also in the flower market, there is a special atmosphere that none of other festival will have this feeling.
At home, there are flowers decorated and also red paper written some good words on it. The most happy thing to me is I could wear new clothes. It is good because it means everyone wearing new clothes and welcome a new year!
