why leave taiwan?

I don't know why people leave there. My cousin actually moved there from the U.S. and loves it. :-)

China will invade Taiwan in the next 5 years. America won't be able to stop it. They will be destroyed. Many of the people see this and are lucky enough to be able to afford to leave.

I moved to the UK in 2000. I didn't find anything shocking. I love it here because it's everything I've ever wanted and everything Taiwan could not offer.

Looking for a better place to live.

The most difficult thing for they is to accept the tax system in these list countries.

1. Economic decline. Yes, it is declining.
2. Military issues. My parents thought that war with China was inevitable at the time and did not want me to join the military. Actually, they just did not want to join the military period even if there was not going to be a war.
3. I think the education system is a harder and that the parent's realize this. My parents told me it was also because of this reason that they brought me here. They both have a Master's degree and it was because of their experience which they described as extremely stressful, full of pressure, and lonely sometimes, that they brought me here.
4. The American dream I guess. Btw, this is just a hoax. Ok fine, there can be a lot of opportunities here in the U.S.. You know what though, just go to Canada.
5. So yea, more opportunities I guess. Again, on a personal level, I believe this is ********. You also have to work hard for an education here to get a good job. Better yet, you have to know a lot of people to get a good job here. Also, I have been held back by my race and ethnicity a couple of times.

There are some reasons,

1. for their children: the education system make students are really stress in Taiwan compared with Canada, USA and so on. This is a chief reason for many families in Taiwan.

2. Threats from China: I disagree that some people said China is going to take Taiwan in the next 5 years. Actually, no one knows. This problem has been existing since three deades ago.

3. Retired people: it's popular now in Taiwan, people move to other countries after they retire.

4. Work: some countries (especialy USA and Canada) go to Taiwan for looking for professional woker, such as nurse, engineer. They provide higher salary to hire those professional people. The reason is because Taiwan has too many nurses and engineers more than the marketplace ask for.

5. Study: some people immigrate after they graduate in that country. It wasn't common that Taiwan people go abroad for studying, but now it's quite popular.

Maybe there are some reasons I haven't mentioned yet. Hope this answer can help you :)
