If the sum if three consecutive odd integers is 99 , what is the largest integer ?

Let the largest integer be a, then the second largest integer be (a - 2),
then the third largest integer be (a - 4),
a + (a - 2) + (a - 4) = 99
a + a - 2 + a - 4 = 99
a + a +a - (2 + 4) = 99
3a - 6 = 99
3a = 99 + 6
3a = 105
a = 35
.
. . the largest integer is 35.
