How to 讀呢個英文名?

PS:I have to give her a call,but i have no idea how to read her name..

呢個唔係英文名呢咖, 呢個係法文名, 响 Port aux Basques 好多係法裔人仕.
妳打電話時表明妳係邊個, 先用英文講, 佢地會明白妳嘅來意, 然後用英文讀佢個名
Gene 讀做 jinny (簡叫), 有可能已經有人咁叫佢
如果佢都係唔明就試吓用法語讀佢嘅名
Genevieve 讀做 jin-a-vey

記住, 加拿大人基本上友善, 盡量講就得, 佢唔會 expect 妳講純正法語, 最重要先表明妳係邊個, 等佢有心理準備妳啲英文都未必純正.
