美國生BB
本人是香港人, 而我老公都是香港人.... (不是美國公民啦)
如果想去美國生BB....
1) Really depend on how long you are stying in America and what kind of service you wanted in America. Also related to your recovery status.
First, you need to know, since you are not US Citizens you will not be accepted to any public hospital, with no insurance, most hospital will not even look at you unless you pay some fee up front.
If you do not have insurance. The procedure will cost you around 7000 - 10000 USD and also recovery after giving birth are on at lease 125 USD/day (This is what i know from 5 years ago) This does not include any MEdication and also after care service, those service costed extra.
If you do not give birth naturally, you need to operate on, you need to pay for operate cost as well as the OR Rent for your operation, this will be around 10,000- 20,000 depend from hospital to hospital.
That is, if you give birth naturally, you will need to stay behine for 3-5 days. That mean on the process of giving birth, you need to pay around 12,000 and that is excluding Doctor Interviews and also normal living cost on or before you give birth. The other cost are totally depend on where you want to stay and how you want to spend your money.
Estimate on the Grant total for a 3 months stay.
Give birth by natural method ~ 30,000 USD
Give birth by Operation ~ 50,000 USD
The figure can be adjust from different county and cities.
2)
All children born in the US are consider US Citizens.
2)
好處 :
US Passport your son/daughter will have in the future.
You son/daughter can run for US president.
壞處 :
Expensive, appox ~100,000 - 200,000 HKD per go.
As you do not qualified any Insurance, if your son/daughter die on the process, you got nothing but a very big debt to the Hospital.
You cannot apply US Citizenship until your son/daughter turn 25, and that have another long queue to wait for family Reunion Visa. You will be a Green Card Holder appoximately 30 years after your son/daughter was born. ANd 4 years after that, then you can become US Citizens. That is, if you go to the US to do that when you are 30, you will be US Citizens when you are about 65.
Your son will need to raise in HK (If you do not have any relative in the US.) As your son is a US Citizens, he will not qualified as a Chinese Citizens and may not be qualified to certain benefit in HK (e.g. 9 years free education)
