For Line formula a(x1,y1) and b(x2,y2) what will be if x1=x2 .?

line formula ==> y-y1-(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)*(x-x1)=0

the line will be parallel to the y axis if youre going to graph it. but if you will solve it, i think there will have some errors.

if x1=x2, then you would have a vertical line crossing the specifed x1 or x2 (any one will do since they are the same). the equation of the line would be x=x1 or x=x2 .

in addition if you had y1=y2, the line would be horizontal. hence its equation would just be y=y1 or y2.
