If everything is alright with your health except this problem It is related to-
CARPOL TUNNEL SYNDROME. The symptoms are:

1 You feel numb for the 3 fingers, including the thumb, the index finger and
the middle finger.

2 You feel numb also for the area from the palm to the wrist especially during
sleep.

It is likely that you might have repeated the same action with your hand or lifting
heavy things several times a day. Please avoid from this.



Usually, you will be prescribed some medicine for releasing the pain and reducing
the inflammatory by the physicians. The most importance is that you have to wear the
splint wrist brace as recommended. You can buy it from any pharmacy shop.

It may be o.k. if not taking any medicine. However, you must wear the splint wrist
brace during sleeping time everyday.

Taking medicine for a long time might be a problem for
the side effects. Only
wearing the splint wrist brace is helpful for my condition. The most
importance is to avoid lifting heavy things and repeating the same action
continuously otherwise the conditon will be worsened.

腕管綜合症 (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome )
腕管是由腕橫韌帶和腕骨組成的管道，管道內含９條肌腱和正中神經線。腕管綜合症是指正中神經線在腕管內受壓而造成的症候群。臨床上早期表現為手外側三隻半手指有麻痛感，晚上情況較差，病人往往會揮動手掌來減輕病癥。晚期還會出現大拇指肌肉萎縮。女性、糖尿病者、懷孕婦女、曾有腕部骨折的病人較易患上此症。

處理方法
早期(保守治療)

用膠或皮手托保持腕關節於中立位置。
在腕管內注射針藥。

晚期
保守治療失敗者、病程較長及已有肌肉萎縮者、臨床上疑有腫物壓迫者，一般會建議用手術治療，手術前會安排神經線傳導檢查。

手術簡介
一般會用全身或局部麻醉，病人即日或翌日便可回家，手術包括腕橫韌帶切斷、腕管探查、正中神經線鬆解術。現在手術普遍以微創方式進行，切口較小及復原時間較快。大約一星期後拆線，慬記手術後要多活動手指。

併發症

傷口發炎、癒合不良。
病癥復發：因腕橫韌帶沒有完全切開。
傷及手指或正中神經線或血管而引致大拇指肌肉萎縮。
