a shirt is sold for $270 ,and the profit per cent is 25%.IF the shirt sold for$300,what is the profit?

=300*(25/100)
=75$
IF the shirt sold for$300,the profit is 75$。

125%x = 270
x = 216
The profit:
300-216

= 7/18%

=202.5
售價-原價:300-202.5
=97.5
$97.5is the profit.

設件shirt原價為y
y x (1+25%)=270
y x 1.25 = 270
y =270/1.25
y =216
300 - 216 = 84
profit is $84

I think the formula is :
The original price:
270x(1-15%)
=$202.5
The Profit:
$300-202.5
=$97.5
The original price:
270x(1-15%)
=$202.5
The Profit:
$300-202.5
=$97.5
