solve sq3 question

according to the REMAINDER THEOREM
let f(λ)=λ^3-7λ^2+14λ-8=0 ,f(λ)can be written as (λ-m)g(λ),where deg g(λ)=2 and m is a factor of 8
Also , according to the theorem , If f(m) =0 , which means (λ-m) is a factor of
f(λ)
Then , we tried to put m=±1,±2,±4,±8 intof(λ) in order to check whether when f(λ)=0 , the value of m
Finally, we find that f(2)=0,that means (λ-2) is a factor of f(λ)
