HK Artisits have to speak in Mandarin in Cable TV

some artiste are contractually bound [if they've signed contracts with TVB or ATV] that they can't appear on other TV channels and speak Cantonese at the same time. In order to circumvent this term in their contracts with TVB or ATV, they must speak in other languages or dialect such as Mandarin when they appear on other TV channels like Cable TV Infotainment Channel.
