Katie at 16 I found myself in this same situation two different times. I really hope you aren't sleeping with him. By saying he wants to keep it just friends, what he is really saying is he likes you as a friend (obvioiusly alot) but he's not going to commit to you, he's not going to call you his girlfriend, and ultimately he will date other women right in front of you. But most likely that he is okay with friends with bennifits.
Do yourself a favor and save yourself the heart ache of hoping for something that will never work out. Don't make yourself that available to him. If he's not going to take you seriously, and take the next step of calling you his girlfriend and commiting just to you then don't spend your time waiting for him.
Go out with your girl-friends, see other guys, fill your time up with other things. Don't talk to him 7 hours a day. I know its hard because you have feelings for him, but yourself back. Its crushing to hold on and love someone your such good friends with for so long, and wait through everything to see them get married to some girl that ain't worth it and have kids with her. Because thats what happened to me. Thats just an example out of fairness.
But your worth the commitment.

Simple, it means he only wants a compatible roommates or more.... BUT not a GIRLFRIEND.. you get it? Be smart, unless you're willing don't fall in those TRAP!

better just to ask him.....dont be led on...and i think thats what hes doin...id be like " so u talk to me for hours and thats cool if were friends but something is telling me theres more here, what do u think" and if it says just friends...better than nothing right? atleast you'll know for sure

Did he not know your age until he asked you to move in. That could be the problem. He thought you were 18, and he isn't too eager to live with a minor and when you turn 18, he wants the freedom to find a girl his own age. I'm sorry but i think this is the reason for his change of heart.

Well it definitely sounds like he likes you, but not in the way you're hoping. To move in with him "just as friends" sounds more to me like friends with benefits. I would say definitely do not move in with him now or when you are 18. Keep the friendship going but don't get your hopes up with this guy.

dude, if he wants u 2 move in w/ him, he definitly <3's u. remember that u wont turn 18 for 2 yrs, and a lot can happen in that time. wait 4 a good moment and tlk 2 him.

i have this same problem but i am a bit younger. well it seems like he like u but is waitig to make the move. the whole moving in thing is a sign that he fell comfortable with you. maybe you need to make the first move. i did, bu it didn't work out for me. my heart is still bleeding. well if every thing fails, he wasn't the right guy anyway. and you always get to listen to that break up music. hey try my chemical romance. they filled the hole in my heart. and the lead singer is super cute! good luck.
