Mechanical Engineering = 機械工程
Depends on which university you go to, some courses are 3 years but most are 4 years now, with honors (you need to do a thesis / final year project)
In year 1 you'll study Mathematics, Chemistry, Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanics (Statics and dynamics)
In year 2, You'll study advance mechanics, Mechanics of Solids, Electrical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, solid modeling, Design, Engineering Mathematics, Statistics...
In year 3, you'll specialise more, some uni started to offer electives. but normally you'll do: Heat Transfers, Advance Fluid (CFD - computational Fluid dyanmics), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Adv Design, Manufacturing processes,
In year 4, you'll do Management for engineers, facility management, air-con, Thesis project, maintenance management, Production planning and control
year 3, 4 courses depends on what specialization you choose. normally Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Naval, Mechanical, Mechantronics, Industrial Engineering comes under the School of Mechanical Engineering
Hope this helps...
