Insurance and Fund

I've 2 insurance plans (basic one) starts at 1996.

I want to add medical protection now, my agent suggest transfer the 2 plans into one (fund+insurance) plan & add the medical protection.

But I've got some illness at 1997, although I've passed the body check but there must be some premium increase.

Any loss if I combine the two plans into the new one? Or retain the two plans and buy another one (fund+insurance) with medical protection?

IT'S REALLY HARD TO SAY WHETHER IT'LL GET LOSS/WIN WHILE COMBINE TWO OF UR PLANS INTO ONE. IT DEPENDS WHAT KIND OF FUND & INSURANCE (SUM OF INSURED) & MANY KIND OF FACTS FM UR PLANS... WHEN UR AGENT SUGGEST & I TRUST HE/SHE WILL GIVE U SOME ADVISE, IS THAT REALLY SOUNDS GOOD FOR U? IT'S HARD TO SAY IN WORDS FOR ANY AGENT WHEN UR INSURANCE POLICY NOT ON HAND...THAT'S TRUE..

FOR UR ILLNESS, MOSTLY PREMIUM INCREASE WHEN THERE'S A NEW "RECORDS" FOUND IN HOSPITAL OR DOCTOR. WHILE THERE'S A KIND OF "HEAVY" CRITICAL ILLNESS, EVEN "EXCLUSIONS" WILL OCCUR FOR THAT ILLNESS..

AT LAST, IT'S REALLY GOOD WHEN U PLAN TO ADD THE MEDICAL PROTECTION, IT'S NOT ONLY FOR U, IT'S FOR UR FAMILY, AND SOMEONE WHO CARE ABOUT U, RIGHT?

Hello, I am an agent from prudential, base on your situation, I think you only have the life policy plan,
I sugguest you buy another plan on Crisis cover, medical and accidents plan, both plan can be run on investment linked plan.
and those two plans you could keep it, because you paid it for 10 years, but the best way is find the financial planner to help you analysis
