”一直以來”其實的意思就是”直到如今”或”直到某個時候”
當然你可以說：until now（至今）或 until then（直到那時）
如：Until now, she has been relatively nice to me（她至今對我還算不錯）
但其實，有一隻比較古的字，就已經是這個意思，這字就是：hitherto
如：she has hitherto been relatively nice to me.
