So... like a right angle?

Angel and Faith... stop watching Buffy the vampire slayer
2007-11-16 1:30 pm
Depends on the kind of angle; obtuse, acute or right.
2007-11-16 2:51 pm
Angle?? Like right angled triangle? Surely he means Angel?

Angel is a lovely name but in spanish speaking countries it is a male name so if you travel you may find they get confused by her name - no reason not to choose it of course.

My daughter is called Faith so I am extremely biased! Whenever she tells people her name they say "what a beautiful name". She is the only one in her class at school and loves her name. My parents love it because it's an old fashioned puritan name but a little different to the usual Grace's and Hope's out there. I love it because I think it's short and you can't make nicknames out of it (I don't allow anyone to call her Faithy). I am also a fan of Faith Hill the singer but that's not the reason we chose it. My husbands parents were a little confused as we're not church goers and couldn't understand that we just picked the name because it's pretty.
Go with Faith!!

I think faith will fit much better with the rest of your children. To name this one angel would sound as if you were putting it above the rest of your children, which i'm sure you're not but they may be jealous of that fact. You should name her faith and then he could nickname her angel, like other people use cupcake and pumpkin, it'll be cute, but she won't be stuck with it when shes an adult. Or even as a middle name if you want. Congrats and Good Luck

out of the two, recon you should go for "Faith" as you can spell it , else she might grow up bent over looking at her feet cos she'd be at an "Angle"... but then again...you could call her "Angle" cos she might be clever and get a degree...... another option would be not to name her either of those because it's forcing her to be something so you could maybe call her "Grace"??

Seriously...I prefer Faith out of the two.

Best wishes for baby and you both. May you have a little "Angel", & Have "Faith" in her & the "Grace" to forgive her whenever she's not an "Angel". xx

I would go for faith. Angel sounds a little presumptuous to me. She may turn out to be a naughty girl that doesn't suit her name.

Faith sounds more optimistic about what the future may hold.
2007-11-16 1:29 pm
Angle? that sucks. Do you mean Angel? I sure hope so.
2007-11-16 1:29 pm
is that angle 360 degrees
2007-11-16 1:31 pm
this only a sugesstion why combine the two names. ANGEL FAITH.... how u like it.
2007-11-16 1:29 pm
I think you mean Angel, not a mathmatical term. I think they're both corny as could be.
2007-11-16 2:04 pm
I like the name Faith.. dont name her Angel. She will never live it down.. children are cruel.. they could take that name and do millions of jokes...
2007-11-16 2:03 pm
I think you need to pick a normal name unless you have a good reason to have an obviously religious toned name.

In my undemanding opinion, i admire quite a few of the names, in simple terms seems they at the instant are not flowing properly in the preparations. I incredibly love Ava, besides the shown fact that it flows extra effective, seems to "in good shape" and has a softer sound as "Ava Grace" ........to me, besides. Grace is one in all our chosen names too, we like, love, like it. Marie seems over used to and is very practically a everyday filler as a center call, except it has relatives meaning. Alot of persons won't be able to think of of a attractiveness to go with a conventional call, and stick Marie in there If it has "meaning" to you, Isabella Marie sounds sturdy because it flows of the tongue. lower back, in my opinion, Isabella Ava (althought i admire Ava) sounds stilted as Isabella leads to a and Ava starts with a......... If i needed to apply Madison, i might pair it as "Madison exhilaration" or "Madison Grace"......except, as I suggested, Marie is has intending to you. Of each and every of those you have listed, the only call that flows properly for me as you have paired it is "Sophie Grace". it is nice, gentle, no longer over used at the same time. wish i did no longer offend with my innovations, we are naming a little one besides and quite a few human beings did no longer like a number of my selections! it is why I published right here, % to get some diverse perspectives in the past we call the little one! wish the call you % makes you satisfied, thats all that concerns.

the best thing todo if you cant decide is to double barrel angel and faith so it looks like this angel-faith then you both win as the names will both be her 1st name instead of one or the other all the bestnd i hope this helps you.
2007-11-18 10:39 pm
How about using both. Faith as first name and Angel as middle name. Faith is a lot nicer in my eyes but Angel is pretty.
2007-11-18 9:40 am
I prefer Faith.

Angel is a bit too "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
2007-11-17 5:19 pm
Faith Angelina is a pretty name. :-)
2007-11-16 8:52 pm
I like both of those but would probably go with Faith. Love the name Katie, thats what I have picked out for my little girl!
2007-11-16 8:26 pm
I think I prefer Faith to Angel
2007-11-16 5:15 pm
YOu want something to match the other names, (gabby kayleigh
katie stewart) how about crystal, Georgina, Tessa
2007-11-16 4:59 pm
Faith is better but I really like Grace. (along the same lines)
2007-11-16 4:35 pm
Faith is better than Angel..but it doesnt really go well w/ your other kids names...

Katlyn
kara
Natalie
Corissa

2007-11-16 4:30 pm
I like Angel and Faith but prefer Angel.
2007-11-16 4:28 pm
I'm partial to Faith since I have a niece with that name.
2007-11-16 4:15 pm
I really don't think calling her Angel is a good idea, but if you like that sort of idea, why not Angela or Angelina? That aside, I prefer Faith anyway.
2007-11-16 4:15 pm
Go with Faith-that is a very pretty name.
2007-11-16 4:06 pm
Faith
2007-11-16 3:55 pm
I prefer Faith
2007-11-16 3:16 pm
Faith is way better than Angel. Maybe Angel could be a middle name? Faith is more feminine sounding. Angel is a unisex name but there is no mistaking Faith is a girl.
2007-11-16 3:02 pm
instead of angel maybe angela its a pretty name.
2007-11-16 2:57 pm
Fait is beautiful. I also like Trinity, Sierra, Zoe, Marissa, Samantha, Gabriella, Brooke, Kimberly, Grace, Hope, and Casandra. If you want the meanings of these names, or more names too, go onto www.thinkbabynames.com.

Good luck with your baby girl!

I would have to agree with you.
I like Faith ALOT!!!!
It is a VERY SWEET name.
Plus, I think it blends well with the other children in your family.
Angel is kind of controversial.
After having 4 kids..
why select "Angel" now? What makes this one the "Angel"? aren't the other girls your "Angel"? ... see what I mean....
FAITH is more appropriate and it is simply the better name!

Congrats and good luck.
2007-11-16 2:25 pm
Trust me on this one. GO WITH FAITH! I am saying this because all of the "Angel's" that I have come in contact with, have all been the devil in disguise. Unless you want a little terror...go with Faith.
2007-11-16 1:40 pm
How about putting Faith on the birth certificate but using Angel as a pet name?

In any event you may find after a very short time that she doesn't fit her pet name and you use something alse anyway. Good luck with her you're going to have fun when she's about 14!
2007-11-16 1:39 pm
both have religious connotations, mainly Western...however, faith is slightly more universal, as Hindus adn Buddhists don't really have angels, but the term faith is much more broad. neither are my fave, but I'd go with faith. your husband can call her his angel as a nickname if he likes.
2007-11-16 1:35 pm
Well angel means angelic and faith means to trust....

I would go with faith theres no such thing as an angelic baby hee hee hee mwahahahaha
2007-11-16 1:35 pm
Faith :~)
2007-11-16 1:33 pm
What is your Second Name?
2007-11-16 1:32 pm
i think u misspelled angle (lol) however angel and faith are both lovely but i think u should go with your name as you had to do al the work! and if yous decide to have another and its a girl you could call her angel as both names are lovely x

I'm not too keen on either, to be honest, but I prefer Faith. You can use Angle/Angel as a middle name, to keep your husband happy =)
2007-11-16 1:30 pm
I prefer Faith.
2007-11-16 1:29 pm
Do you mean Angel? Dont put Angle on the birth certificate.
I like Faith better.
2007-11-16 1:29 pm
do you mean angel or angie? personally i like faith better
2007-11-16 2:56 pm
Faith is too boring and old. Angel (if that is what you meant), is dippy as hell. Angle is just bizarre. Stick with a modern name you can spell.
2007-11-16 2:44 pm
Angel
Faith
Hope
Crystal

Good luck with the birth
2007-11-16 1:42 pm
I like them both, how about "Angel Faith _______". But if i had to choose would choose Angel just because Faith is already so common.
2007-11-16 1:41 pm
if you're keen on a religious theme here's some more ideas:

Carnelian
Grace
Carol
Christianna
2007-11-16 1:34 pm
Angel
2007-11-16 1:33 pm
Chloe lol
2007-11-16 1:30 pm
call it buffy
2007-11-16 1:30 pm
hope you mean Angel!

Both are nice but both have religious connotations, so if you are not religious they might not be appropriate.
2007-11-16 1:29 pm
fangle
2007-11-16 1:58 pm
i would mix the two, say "Angel-Faith Mcaviney" mine are called Amarissa, Chakita and Matthew.
