B Cells:
Part of HIR (Humoral Immune Response)
They work in blood
Produce antibodies to destroy pathogens present in blood
Produced at the bone marrow, moves to the lymph nodes when mature.
T Cells:
Part of CMIR (Cell Mediated Immune Response)
They work in tissues
Produce cytotoxins to kill infected cells or cancer cells
Also produced at the bone marrow, but matures at the thymus gland.
