輻射是指電磁波的傳遞,能量透過電場和磁場的不斷交換而傳播,所以是不需以媒介作傳播的。

原子吸收特定頻率的光後,其電子的勢能會被躍升,當電子的勢能位置再回落時,電磁波就會被輻射出來。

其輻射的能量方程: E=hv
h = 普朗克常數 (6.626 x 10^ -27)
v = 頻率

Light, microwaves, x-rays, and TV and radio transmissions are all kinds of electromagnetic waves. They are all the same kind of wavy disturbance that repeats itself over a distance called the wavelength.
