Heartburn is generally nothing to do with the heart and its health, heartburn is caused by an excess of stomach acids, you should try to eat more often, even if its only little snacks, leaving your body without food for prolonged periods of time is not a good idea, especially if you drink tea/coffee whilst working as it can lead to stomach ulcers, it doesn't really matter what you choose to eat when you are busy, just as long as you do eat. Healthy foods won't make you pile on the pounds but often don't keep you feeling full for very long, so definetely try some carb's. If the problem persists you should see a doctor.

Heartburn is usually caused by stomach acid reflux, which will result damaging the inner lining of the stomach. Try to avoid smoking, alcohol, greasy/spicy foods and seek medical treatment if it gets worse.
As for a healthier heart, diet and exercise is always the key. Don't forget omega-3 fatty acid (fish oil, flax seed..etc), it'll do you lots of good. Take care.
Heart burn has nothing to do with your health, really. It is a problem with acid getting into your esophagus (that's the "burn"). It could have something to do with not eating, or with the foods you are choosing to eat.
Sometimes spicy and fatty foods will cause this problem. Soda/coke/pop (whatever you call it) can also cause problems because there is acid in it.
Try eating regularly and keeping snacks on hand(and make sure they are healthy, easy on the stomach foods). Also try small doses of things like Rolaids to counteract the acid in your stomach. I have also heard that taking a cap of vinegar put a large shock on acid in yor stomach so it makes your stomach turn off the acid output nozzels (but have NOT tried this myself).
