over 和 above 分別

老師說 over = 在正上方, sentence (2) 是否要用 above才對呢??

1) We live over a small bookstore. 我們住在一家小書店的樓上

2) A plane flew over the house. 一架飛機飛過了房子

可否解釋 over and above , under and below 之分別

Over = As preposition 1. higher than; above in position, number, authority etc 高于…,(位置、數目、權為等)在…之上
For example: Hang that picture over the fireplace; He's over 90 years old.

As preposition 2. from one side to another, on or above the top of; on the other side of 從一邊到另一邊,在…頂上,在…的另一邊
For example: He jumped over the gate; She fell over the cat; My friend lives over the street.
